Since early childhood, Jill began expressing her creative side by drawing on scrap paper, making greeting cards for family members, and blending finger paint colors whenever she had the chance. Much to the chagrin of her paternal grandmother, she would often create colorful Crayola murals inside closet doors and on pantry walls.
Over time, and with guidance from her Art instructors, Jill's artistic talents flourished, earning her the title of Most Artistic of her graduating class. Continuing to grow and develop a talent for Drawing and Painting, Jill later minored in Fine Arts and Design in college. Happy to expand her creative endeavors, she extended her portfolio to include work with clay figure sculpture, clay portraits (busts), as well as soapstone, and found object sculpture.
Featured in both juried and non-juried exhibitions for Drawing and Painting, Jill's love for a variety of mediums has led her on an incredible journey of self exploration, whereas nature, her muse, is evident in many of her pieces. Balancing a fondness for the natural, Jill has a penchant for creating abstract and geometric artwork. The Evolution series was one of her most popular accomplishments, selling each, one-of-a-kind piece upon completion.
On occasion, Jill holds Paint & Sip, as well as Aura Painting classes. Her classes have been a Fan favorite for several years. For more information, please navigate to Painting Classes.
As an extension of her work as a Psychic and Medium, Jill sketches her impressions, dreams and spirit communications. Several of her sketches have been featured in the hit paranormal documentary series The House In Between (Parts 1 & 2). When Jill is not writing, she can be found in her Art Studio, working on one of her original creations under the watchful eye of her beloved cat, Bella Mae.
